Gray Buffington brings more than three decades of mortgage, homebuilding, and real estate expertise to every client he serves. After earning a degree in Finance, he began his career in mortgage lending in Austin, Texas.
He then spent over ten years with one of Austin's most successful homebuilders, gaining deep experience across sales, construction, finance, and mortgage lending. He later launched and managed lending branches for national mortgage companies before founding his own firm as an independent broker.
That work has earned recognition throughout his career, including Mortgage Professional of the Year from the Austin Homebuilder Association, a Best Customer Service award from the Austin Chamber of Commerce, an Outstanding Ethics award from Wells Fargo, and, more recently, ranking among UWM's Top 10 producers in Arkansas.
Today, Gray leads Hero Mortgage in Bentonville, Arkansas, serving clients across the state. Having worked every side of the transaction, from processing, originating, building, and lending to real estate brokerage, he understands where deals stall and how to keep them moving. Above all, Gray is committed to making every homebuyer's experience smooth, giving them more options and better service.
